Our Mission

 

Retirement Compliance Solutions, LLC (RCS) has been formed to ensure Washington State public employers' retirement accounts  and reporting are in compliance with Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) standards.

Meet Our Team

 Rob Long, Owner/Manager

Rob has over 25 years’ experience at the Department of Retirement Systems (DRS) in several capacities including Retirement Specialist, Employer Auditor, Business Systems Analyst and Employer Support Specialist.  He has worked with all types of public employers, including state agencies, school districts, higher education, and other types of political subdivisions.  He has expert knowledge of retirement reporting, reportable compensation and eligibility rules as well. Rob has the knowledge and expertise to solve your retirement issues quickly and accurately.

 

When asked why he left DRS to form RCS, Rob stated, “DRS was a great place to work, but their priorities are focused more on the administrative functions of retirement.  Employer Support Services is an excellent resource for getting specific questions answered and general training, but when an employer’s retirement is in real trouble, DRS does not have the resources to provide individualized support that is based on an employer’s unique situation. That’s where RCS comes in.  We have the experience, expertise and resources to solve your problems quickly and accurately.”

 Darcy Sierer, Owner/Manager

With decades of experience, Darcy has worked in both the public and private sectors, including over 8 years of self-employment. Exceptional time management skills and superb attention to detail are key in her ability to deliver work of the highest caliber. Darcy is unwavering, extremely dedicated and never shys away from an opportunity to assist with a challenge. She often exhibits a seemingly relentless motivation with a unique combination of being well organized and, at the same time, can be extremely flexible when the situation requires it.

 

Not only is she personable in any setting, her leadership, professionalism and respectful stewardship has built strong community relationships through the projects she coordinates. Her verbal and written skills are outstanding, improving the efficacy of her message with feedback and reflection. Darcy is an excellent communicator and problem solver, with the ability to work with people from all backgrounds. She continually projected enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to all projects. She thoroughly enjoys simplifying processes and reducing stress for clients and looks forward to working with your organization!
